With the recent help of grant money generously awarded by the Steward Foundation and Good Samaritan Medical Center, PCO HOPE formed and unveiled the Healing Our Communities Transitional Benefits Program.  It has been a goal of PCO HOPE's to offer programs supplemental to our scholarships and based around the needs of those further along in the recovery process.  Our Transitional Benefits program does just that.  Applicants are able to request aid at the 30, 60, and 90 day marks of continued sobriety/recovery, and requests can vary based on individual needs.  Monthly buss passes, formal clothing for job interviews are among examples applicants are encouraged to apply for.  PCO HOPE has integrated a "trial process" for application approval and tracking, and plans to use data collected from this time period to make any improvements and changes to our process.  Continued funding for this program will come from donations and grants.
